Cherry Crumble

I used a can of “Epicure Stoneless Black Cherries” fresh cherries not yet in season.

Ingredients:

  • Epicure stoneless black cherries
  • 2oz butter
  • 2oz brown Sugar
  • 3oz plain flour

Method:

Cream the butter, add the brown sugar, continue to mix, then add the flour and mix thoroughly to a crumbly consistency.

I used a small oven dish, drained the cherries, retaining the juice, placed the Cherries in the dish, then spooned some of the juice over them.

Finally I covered all the cherries with the crumbly mixture.

Baked on the top wire shelf in the Halogen oven, at 190°c for 40 mins.

It was delicious.
