Sausage Casserole

Serves 1 or 2

Ingredients:

  • 3 or 4 thick sausages
  • 1 potato sliced
  • ½ onion sliced
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1 small/med clove garlic finely chopped
  • Parsley
  • 3 or 4 cardamon pods (just seeds)
  • ½ pint Gravy

Method:

Arrange tomato on bottom of dish.

Arrange onion on top of tomato, and then the sausages on top of this.

Make the gravy, mixing in the garlic, parsley, and cardamon (can add brown/tomato sauce for extra flavour if required)

Arrange potato slices over top of dish covering sausages.

Cook at 180°C for 35 minutes.

Be careful not to use too big a clove of garlic (which I did) as this can taste raw unless you cook it in the gravy before adding to the dish.
