Gammon Steak and Pineapple
A simple way to cook a classic in the Halogen oven
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°c
- Trim outer fat from around the gammon steaks
- Place on a shallow baking tray and cover with 2 pineapple rings per steak
- Pour a couple of tablespoons of pineapple juice into the tray
- Place on the top rack and cook for approx 15 minutes until cooked through.
No need to turn.
Time will depend on size and thickness of your steaks. Always test for ‘doneness’ before serving.
Delicious with the Cheese topped potato bake and fresh green vegetables.
